about

*EARTH 2164AD

Earth has been reduced to a cyberpunk dystopia - all semblance of organic plants and animals have been replaced by mile high phosphorescent skyscrapers littered with holographic advertisements.

Climate change has decimated much of the world, land giving itself back to the sea. City 4467 sits surrounded by a massive sea wall - designed before The Fall to protect it from the inevitable rising tide.

An enormous monolith exists in the center of 4467, the last semblance of control after centuries of collapse and disorder. Atop the pure white marble of the spindle sits a glistening onyx Orb - always watching, always listening, always waiting.

As dawn pulls itself up from behind the wretched darkness of the sea wall you the daily chants of The Orb can be heard - sending infinite signals to those who remain, instructing them of their daily tasks.

A siren cuts through the dense atmosphere, slicing through the silence that rests like a blanket on the final refuge. An unknown object rips down through Earth’s defenses - splintering through dozens of decrepit satellites once used to spy, to beam programming and advertisements to the eyes and ears of the masses.

The fireball rockets across the horizon, blasting a massive hole through the sea wall like a hot knife through butter. The massive spinning ball of flame speeds towards The Orb before slamming into what seems to be an invisible wall. It hovers in the air, almost as if inspecting its glistening reflection in The Orb.
